I have lost track of myself and am at my heaviest point ever. Just one month from my 32nd birthday, I feel fat and unlovely. I have decided to try something different - temperance in eating and exercise. I am going to follow a strict routine because frankly the flexible approach is killing me. I know how to make right choices but tend to do so best when under pressure. A friend of my mentioned the rice diet as a means of losing weight and after some research I have determined that it is an excellent choice for me because I have ALOT of brown rice and I am basically following a diet based on fruits,vegetables and grains that I should be eating any way. I am starting officially tomorrow but am going to ease my way into it today. I look forward to my progress and anticipate wonderful results. I also intend to follow a workout schedule that requires me to do aerobic excercise for 20 minutes (first thing in the morning) 3 days and on alternate days to do strenous weight training. I have one month to go and I am ready!
We journey towards fitness and freedom by recognizing that we are powerless to change ourselves. We therefore believe that we need God's power to control our unhealthy habits in order to better glorify him through transformed lives.
